Towns & Communities

Decatur County has three incorporated towns and even more unincorporated towns and communities.  Every town and community is distinctive and has a wealth of history attached to it.  But they also have many likenesses in their history such as their friendliness, high moral and religious convictions, and work ethics which our fore fathers used when creating the county out of the wilderness.

In the pages of this section of our web site we will try to share the histories of each and every town and community that makes Decatur County a great place to live.
